A newly wed who ran away with her lover committed suicide after coming to her hometown for the month of Asadha
The new bride, who had come to her home in the background of Asadha month, ran away with her lover. Later, both of them were forcibly brought back. The incident in which the offended young woman committed suicide took place in Rampur village of Nanjangudu taluk of Mysore district.
The deceased has been identified as Varshita (20). Varshita was in love with Kiran who lived next to her house. Her parents persuaded her daughter about this and got her married to a young man from Chamarajanagar.
Background of Ashadha month, when she came home last month, she ran away with her lover. A case was registered in this regard at Hullahalli police station.
Varshita and Kiran, who had run away, were caught in Bangalore and the police brought them back and separated them. Later, Varshita stayed at her relative's house in Mysore for 3 days and then came to her grandfather's house in Rampur.
Hurt by the separation of her lover, Varshita hanged herself in the washroom of her grandfather's house. A case has been registered in this regard at Hullahalli police station.
